Rogozin not sure about need to create Ministry of the Arctic
Russian Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin made this statement in response to a question from a TASS news agency reporter.
“It’s hard to imagine that there could be one universal host for the Arctic”, he said when asked whether the Arctic region needs a “single manager” in the form of a special Ministry of the Arctic. “But the existing interests that have obviously intensified recently and have been covered by the appropriate technologies and specific projects undoubtedly require a systematic approach, a comprehensive analysis, and coordinated implementation”.
