Russia to Deploy a Unified Information Base of “Arctic” Goods
The system will include information on goods, equipment and devices produced for the Arctic. This was announced to Russia 24 by Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin, who also noted that the information base would be deployed based on the results of the Arctic Forum in Arkhangelsk.
“Every federal district, every constituent entity of the Russian Federation participated in preparing for the Arctic Forum. They have prepared their own catalogues, which will be subsequently transferred to the electronic network. These catalogues include all goods, equipment, tools and various devices – everything they are ready to produce for the Arctic. These catalogues will be merged into a single information base”, said Rogozin, stressing that “today Russia is preparing to return to the Arctic on a completely new technological basis.”
