Press-centre

The ‘Arctic: Territory of Dialogue’ International Arctic Forum press centre is a modern, interactive platform where media representatives are able to comfortably do their work. The press centre is located on the 1st floor of the ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Centre. The doors of the press centre are open to representatives of media organizations, information partners, and the host broadcaster, from who are accredited to work for International Arctic Forum and have already collected their badge from one of the accreditation points.

Organizing and holding press events at The International Arctic Forum

Media Representative Work Areas

Written Media Area

Location: Press centre (1st floor of the ExpoForum centre)
Capacity: 100 seats

Purpose
A work area for media representatives. The Written Media Area is composed of four separate office areas with a total of 76 seats equipped with personal computers and an open space zone with 26 seats equipped to accommodate personal devices. The work areas are not intended to be reserved for any single media representative or media organization.

Attention: the media representative work areas will be equipped with feeds of the live broadcast of the International Arctic Forum plenary session and other key forum events.

Press Event Spaces

In order to ensure that the work of media representatives goes as smoothly as possible, the forum has designated areas for holding press conferences, briefings, agreement signing ceremonies, as well as a signing ceremony point, interview room, and press points.

Briefing Hall

Location: Press centre (1st floor of the ExpoForum centre)
Total Area: 181 sq. metres
Capacity: 136 seats and a 6-seat presidium

Signing Ceremony Point


Location: Passage
Capacity: 4-seat presidium

The signing ceremony point features International Arctic Forum branding and is audio and lighting equipped.

Interview Spaces

Interview Room

Location: Press centre (1st floor of the ExpoForum centre)
Area: 18 sq. metres
Equipped with: an upholstered sofa, armchair, and a coffee table.

A separate space for holding individual interviews with International Arctic Forum participants. The interview must not exceed 30 minutes.

Press Points

Intended for contact between official International Arctic Forum programme participants and media representatives. The press points feature International Arctic Forum branding and are audio equipped.
