The Scientific Centre for Arctic Studies from the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous District has been admitted to the University of the Arctic community, giving it the opportunity to carry out joint scientific work.

The University of the Arctic is an international network that unites over 180 higher educational institutions and scientific organizations from 16 countries. Members of the community conduct joint scientific research for the sustainable development of northern regions and comprehensive support for the peoples who inhabit them.
