Young people and participants of the International Arctic Forum will have the opportunity to meet a bright and charismatic sports personality. Nikita Nagornyy is not only an Olympic champion but also the creator of a unique acrobatic move named after him – a triple backflip with an arched body. He is actively working on developing his personal brand, managing his social media, and engaging in socially significant and public projects. Since last year, he has also been leading the All-Russian Federation of Phygital Sports.

The discussion will cover a wide range of topics, from phygital sports – a new discipline that Russia introduced to the world last year – to personal growth and overcoming obstacles, including injuries and other challenges.

An invitation is required to attend the event.

Everyone knows what a snowball fight is. This winter pastime is evolving rapidly and is on its way to becoming a fully fledged winter sport, attracting attention and gaining popularity among winter activity enthusiasts.

Participants in the International Arctic Forum will have the opportunity to experience a northern winter sport up close. Yukigassen is a team-based snowball fight played on a specially prepared field with appropriate equipment.

The main objective of the game is to capture the opponent’s flag, located on the other side of the field, or to eliminate more players from the opposing team. The game is open to participants of all ages and fitness levels.

The event is free for Forum participants. Advance registration is not required.

The development of tourism in the Arctic zone will be discussed at the Forum. The creation of modern ski infrastructure in various parts of the Murmansk Region has contributed to enhancing its tourist appeal. Forum guests will have the opportunity to experience this firsthand by skiing on the slopes.

For example, just 15 minutes from the centre of Murmansk is the Nord Star ski resort, which offers several slopes ranging from 750 to 1,000 metres in length, with an elevation difference of 120 metres.

Forum participants can present their badge to receive a discount. Advance registration is not required.
